Schlieckau is part of the borough of Suhlendorf and situated in the district of Uelzen / Lower Saxony at the B 71 between Uelzen and Salzwedel. Within the village the stables are signposted.

Coming from the North:

Take the A 7 motorway to Hamburg/Hannover. 30 kms south of Hamburg at the motorway junction take the A 250 to Lüneburg.
At the end of the A 250 in Lüneburg you will reach the B4 circular. After about 5 kms take the exit Dannenberg / Uelzen and follow the signs for Uelzen. In Uelzen go left onto the B 71 to Salzwedel. Follow this to Schlieckau.

Coming from the West and South:

Follow the A 7 to Hannover/Hamburg. Take the exit Soltau-Ost and join the B 71 to Uelzen / Salzwedel via Munster to Uelzen. In Uelzen remain on the B 71 to Salzwedel until you reach Schlieckau.

Coming from Braunschweig:

Leave the A 2 Hannover - Berlin joining the B4 to Uelzen in Braunschweig. In Uelzen use the exit Gr. Liedern / Salzwedel to join the B 71 to Salzwedel until you reach Schlieckau.

Coming from the East:

Use country roads to Salzwedel. From there join the B 71 to Uelzen/Soltau until you reach Schlieckau.
